About Me

I am a mom of three boys. My first was born in September 2002, second November 2003 and third October 2009. =) They keep me a very busy mama!! I'm married to my high school sweetheart. I am very into arts & crafts, and I always have been. I love to paint, draw, color (yep, I have my very own :large: box of Crayola crayons, just for me), sew, crochet, scrapbook, all those fun things! I didn't pick sewing back up until a little over a year ago, when my cousin said she could make cloth diapers for me when I was pregnant with my third child. I looked up cloth diapering and found a video link to someone making cloth diapers, and thought I could do it too, so I did. And that's how my sewing frenzy began. :)

I love spending family time with my husband, our boys and our dog (who's also a boy... I'm surrounded, ha ha!). We'd love to travel more, but for now, living in a fairly large size city makes finding things to do locally pretty easy. We're only 20 minutes from the beaches, and there are lots of nice parks around here, fortunately.

I also LOVE to read. Love, love, love. <3 hehe! My grandma used to tell me I read "too much" because I always had a book in my hand... I'd read in the bath tub, at the dinner table, in the car, everywhere. I still prefer a good book to TV any day... I used to be a big Stephen King fan, but since having kids, thrillers bother me more than I enjoy them for some reason. I love the Harry Potter series, and, yes, I'm one of those Twilight (book) addicts. I enjoy the movies too, but they just can't hold a candle to the books! I love getting recommendations on new books to read, since I read the same ones over, and over, and over again.

Well, I guess that's all I have "about me" right now.... I'm a pretty simple kind-of girl!
